The new Competence and Conduct Standard will come into force from October 2026, with the government estimating that around 30,000 staff will need to gain or be working towards a qualification.

This webinar explores how social landlords are preparing for the incoming legislation, their biggest challenges and concerns, and discusses best practice on how they can ensure compliance ahead of implementation in October.

If you are in a housing management role in the social housing sector, whether at a council or housing association, this is a must-watch to ensure you understand what is needed to meet the mandatory qualification standards coming in.

Our expert panel includes:

  • Anna Highfield, editor, Inside Housing Management
  • Charlotte Hilliard, policy lead on professionalisation in social housing, Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government
  • Pete Linsley, academy lead Chartered Institute of Housing tutor, Places for People
  • Dominic Thurston, head of learning and development, L&Q
