Mark joined Sovereign Housing Association as Chief Executive in June 2018. Previously he had been Chief Financial Officer at Clarion Housing Group, a position he had held for 17 years.
Mark qualified as a Chartered Accountant at Deloitte. Soon after that he joined the housing sector at Circle 33, and subsequently worked for sector consultancy Chapman Hendy Associates.
Outside of his executive roles, Mark was a Board member of the National Housing Federation until 2017, where he was Vice Chair. He was also a Non-Executive Director of Citizens Advice nationally, where he was Treasurer and chaired the Audit and Risk Committee.
